Dating apps like Tinder, Bumble, and many others have become one of the most important means of finding love in today’s digital-centric world. Instead of meeting people in real and falling in love, people are finding love online from the comfort of their couch.

Online dating is also gaining more momentum, thanks to apps like Instagram and reels. However, there are certain ethics that need to be followed while dating, whether it is a casual or a serious relationship.

A doctor has started a chatter online after he revealed that he has been dating his patient. Taking to his X handle, the doctor going by the name @Pinacodalda has shared how he started dating his patient.

“So I matched with this girl on bumble, she had an irregular menses and came to me for consultation, we found out large fibroid and then I operated on her. 2 months post op. We went on date today😄,” shared the doctor.

As expected, his tweet went viral soon after it was posted leaving the internet divided.

“Technically you’re being unethical. I hate to break it to you,” commented a user.

Another user wrote, “How proud are you selling your personal life just for a few engagements? Never understood this logic why people do so. Maybe something is wrong with me.”

A third user commented, “It is unethical and illegal to date a patient, let alone post on social media about their medical condition.”

However, the doctor later clarified that it was a friendly date as the patient wanted to thank him.
