Three arrested on dacoity bid

One of those arrested from Suraj Bihar area last night was also allegedly involved in Rabindra Behera alias Chicken Rabi murder case in January 1 last year, the police said.

"The arrest was made when the miscreants were planning a major dacoity," inspector in-charge (town) police station, S S Mohapatra, said.

A country-made gun, some cartridges, crude bombs and a sword were seized from them, he said.
