Three arrested in gang rape case

The girl, who had been living with her relatives in Vijay Nagar area here, was allegedly gang raped in a moving car by a neighbour and his three friends on March 13 while she was travelling to Gurgaon in search of a job.

The three arrested were identified as the victim`s neigbour Vinay, who works in a call center, and two other youths, Manish and Dipak, Ghaziabad SSP Raghubir Lal said.

The fourth accused, Neeraj, is still at large. Vinay had allegedly offered a lift to the girl while she was on her way to Gurgaon. He drove her to Noida where he asked her to board another vehicle in which three of his friends were seated. The four then forced her to drink liquor and allegedly gang raped her in the moving car.

Later, the four accused dumped her near Hoshiyarpur village in Noida Sector 51 where she was spotted by locals who took her to a hospital.
