Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker, is also competing in the race to update smartphone and present new advancements in the market.

They are introducing an upgraded version of their foldable smartphone, similar to the foldable smartphones from brands like Samsung, Techno, Opop, Motorola, and OnePlus.

The company's CEO, Lei Jun, recently confirmed the launch date of the Mi Mix Fold 3 foldable smartphone through a post on the platform formerly known as Twitter.

In the teaser shared on this platform, Xiaomi unveiled official images of the smartphone, which give a clear view of its design. 

The upcoming smartphone showcases a Leica-branded rear quad-camera system and features slightly curved corners.

The upcoming Mi Mix Fold 3 smartphone is expected to enter into competition with various other foldable gadgets like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Pixel Fold, and Honor Magic V Fold.

According to a report from GizmoChina, the Mi Mix Fold 3 is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a periscope telephoto lens.

Additionally, the foldable smartphone might house a 4,800 mAh battery that is likely to support rapid 67W charging.

Lei Jun, Xiaomi's CEO, has already affirmed that the Mi Mix Fold 3 smartphone will be unveiled during an event in China.

He specifically mentioned that the launch will take place on August 14th in the domestic market.
