Amit, 25, attacked his wife Pooja, 24, with some sharp-edged weapon in his house at Rolad Latifpur village last night, police said.

Amit, a `safai karamchari`, suspected that his wife had an extra-marital relationship, police claimed. After killing his wife he escaped from the house, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab him.
