Viral video: Sunil Gavaskar, Dinesh Karthik join ‘Tum Tum’ trend - watch

Indian cricketers are often entertaining their fans by joining different trends over various social media platforms. Popular Team India cricketers like Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill and Yuzvendra Chahal have recently joined different social media trends with some entertaining creations. Even Indian women’s team has also followed the trend. They won million hearts over the internet by joining the popular ‘Tum Tum’ trend.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star Dinesh Karthik and legendry batsman and former India captain Sunil Gavaskar also joined the 'Tum Tum' trend recently but with a twist.

In the video, both the stars can be found shadow practicing cricket shots with  ‘Tum Tum’ song playing in the background. In the video, while Karthik is advocating for the requirement in T20 by hitting shadow sixes, Gavaskar is harping for the old format of the game by shadow practicing fours.

“Fun times with a legend who’s so humble and young at heart,” Karthik captioned the video. The video has so far garnered 6.87 lakh likes and several hilarious comments from the fans.

“Can we have 3rd option odi,” a fan hilariously wrote.

Responding to the video another fan wrote, “Test Cricket is great because apko apki capacity pata aap 5days prepare rah sakte ho ya nahi but T20 aur 1day alag format hai jo ki Test ke baad hi ata hai.” 

“Hahaha this is the best thing I’ve seen lately. Love it,” a third user commented.
