Upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is just round the corner as the marquee event will be played in USA and West Indies in June.

Considering the number of match winners present in the Indian squad, the Men in Blue are considered as one of the title favourites. India were knocked out by England in the semifinal of the last event.

However, former New Zealand pacer Simon Doull has pointed out one alarming weakness in Team India’s squad for the upcoming World Cup.

“India have been missing a player in their top five-six, who can bowl a few overs in T20 cricket,” said Doull during an interaction.

Doull also made a big prediction about the team picture after the marquee event

“Abhishek Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad will come into the picture. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill will remain in the mix. You will have options. SKY is going to be there along with Shivam Dube. You will have guys in the top order who can bowl. India will bat deeper with two-three all-rounders. This will allow the management to play with four genuine bowlers,” he added.
