Afghanistan’s historic 21-run win over Australia in the Super 8 of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 meant a lot for the nation that has historically seen many invasions. The entire Afghanistan came out to celebrate on the streets, singing and dancing.

The conquest was special as an emotional Rashid Khan said, “Come celebrate and dance. Poor people like us rarely get the chance to enjoy as happiness belongs to those who are strong and rich.” Apart from Afghanistan people, it was Indians who stood by their neighbours and cheered for them.

Indian cricket lovers have always stood up for Afghanistan and come out in their support. As a mark of respect for all the support, social media sensation and Afghanistan native Wazhma Ayoubi took to X handle to thank every Indian that supported Afghanistan.

Along with her heartfelt post, Ayoubi shared a picture of herself in a saree and fans cannot get enough of her natural beauty. She looks breathtakingly beautiful in a saree and can easily give Bollywood actresses a run for their money.

Along with her adorable picture, Ayoubi wrote, “A big shoutout to everyone who cheered on our #AfghanAtalan’s journey to the semi-finals! A special thank you to our dear Indian supporters for the overwhelming love and backing you've given our cricket heroes.”

“We Afghans truly cherish and stand by the Indian team as our own. Let's look forward to India and Afghanistan facing off in the finals, inshallah. No matter who wins Ghar ki baat hai 🇦🇫♥️🤝🇮🇳,” she added.

Soon, her picture went viral with fans flooding the comments section with adorable praises for her mesmerizing beauty.

“Looking great in traditional attire of our women. May God bless you, Wazhma. Hearty congrats to you & people of Afghanistan for Team Afghanistan making to semifinals in style. We are as happy as you all are, if not more,” a fan commented.
