Smriti Mandhana is one of the cornerstones of the Indian women’s cricket team. With several coveted records to her name, Smriti Mandhana’s journey from a normal girl to India’s best batter is a fascinating one.

The former world No. 1 ODI batter in ICC women’s cricket rankings was just 16 when she made her international debut for India in a T20 match against Bangladesh women and there has been no turning back for her since then.

Apart from being the first Indian woman player to score the fastest T20I 50, she is the third Indian woman to score 2,000 runs in T20I cricket. The cricketer is reportedly dating Palash since a very long time. Even as they have remained tight-lipped about their relationship, a few eagle-eyed fans scrutinised their social media handles and made the disclosure.

The two have been leaving adorable comments on each other’s posts. Earlier, sharing two pictures with Palash, Smriti wished him on his birthday and wrote, “Happy birthday to the purest soul. Have a great year ahead.”

Similarly, Palash also wished Smriti on her birthday and wrote, “Happiest birthday to the strongest girl I know.”

Furthermore, Palash also has a tattoo that reads SM18 and fans think it is Smriti Mandhana's initials and her jersey number 18. The two have been often spotted spending quality time with each other and promoting each other on social media.

For the unversed, Palash is a professional singer and music composer. The 27-year-old has also written and directed the much famous web series ‘Ardh’ for which he won the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award for Best Debut Direction.
