Who can forget the nail-biting thrilling match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) in 2023 IPL? MS Dhoni’s CSK needed 10 runs in just 2 balls with Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube in the batting crease and Hardik Pandya’s Mohit Sharma bowling.

Initially, the Gujarat Titans (GT) seemed to have it all under control as Mohit Sharma delivered four incredible Yorkers in the first 4 balls of the final over. With 10 runs needed in just 2 balls, CSK was looking terrible and only a miracle could have helped them. Both Jadeja and Shivam Dube seemed worried with the win seeming impossible.

However, as luck would have it, Mohit Sharma missed his length in his 5th bowl and Jadeja smashed him for a huge six. Later, the team needed four runs to win the match in the last ball.

Jadeja flicked the last delivery, a full toss, on the leg stump for a boundary and the entire stadium erupted in joy. Jadeja and Dube’s heroics helped CSK to lift their fifth IPL title.

Recently, Shivam Dube, who is doing wonders in the Ranji Trophy recalled the incident and said, "Mohit bhai ne bahut achi bowling ki. Lekin Jadeja ka sixer sab badal diya."

Stressing on their crucial expressions (talk) without sharing any single word, only using signals, Dube recalled, “10 runs chahiye the, mujhe laga ab kya hoga 2 balls main. Toh Jaadu bhai ne aisa kiya, main bhi aise kiya. Aur phir panchwa ball mein unhone mardia chaka (we needed 10 runs in 2 balls. So, Jaadu bhai nodded his head and I also nodded my head. Then, he smashed a huge six of the 5th ball)..."

"Phir, humko chaar runs chahiye tha. Main ready tha bhaagne ke liye. Lekin phir Jadeja ne chaar marke match jita dia (then we needed 4 runs of the last ball, I was ready to run...Jadeja hit a four and won the match for us)," Dube added.
