On Friendship Day, legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar walked down the memory lane and shared a throwback picture of him with his friends from Sahitya Sahwas, the housing society where he stayed in his formative years.

The 50-year-old master blaster took to his official Twitter handle and posted a rare picture of his teenage years in which he could be seen striking a pose along with a bunch of friends.

“Amid the hustle bustle, let's pause and celebrate Friendship! Today on #FriendshipDay, I remember my first bunch of friends from Sahitya Sahwas and those priceless memories which bring an instant smile to my face & I feel fortunate for being in touch with them even till this day. Tag such friends of yours and let them know that they're special!,” wrote Sachin along with the photo.

Shared some two hours ago, the post has already garnered 63.5K views and several comments.

Netizens however found the post to be a nostalgic one. While some pointed out that how Sachin has not forgotten his childhood friends and has maintained his relationship with them, others reminisced about their old friends.
