Team India is looking like ticking all the boxes ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023. They have won the Asia Cup recently. They beat mighty Australians comprehensively in the first ODI in Mohali a couple of days back. The pacers of Men in Blue are performing well and most of the batters are also among the runs. However, former India batsman and great fielder Mohammad Kaif has sent a word of caution to captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid.

Kaif pointed out a glaring error in Team India’s preparation and pointed out that the Men in Blue need to improve in that aspect. Otherwise, they may even loose the World Cup at home soil. As per Kaif, India still need to improve on their fielding.

India’s struggles with the fielding were evident during the Asia Cup tournament itself. However, the victories never allowed veterans and experts to dwell on the topic. On Friday, India committed another major error with Shreyas Iyer dropping an easy catch to allow David Warner to survive at 14.

Kaif was quick in pointing India’s weakness with a blazing post.

“Caution: India may drop the World Cup if they don’t catch well. Batting and bowling can win matches but so can catches,” the former fielding great tweeted.
