ODI WC 2023: Irfan Pathan dances with Harbhajan Singh to celebrate Afghanistan win over Sri Lanka - watch

Minnows Afghanistan registered an emphatic seven wicket victory against former World Champions Sri Lanka in a match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Sunday. With this victory, Afghanistan’s chances of qualifying to the semifinals have brightened.

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan is a big supporter of his ‘Pathan brothers’ from across the border. Pathan again celebrated the famous victory of Afghanistan in a unique way. Pathan danced in joy after Afghanistan posted their third win of the mega event . He also asked former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh to join in the celebratory dance as well in a television show.

Earlier, Pathan had danced with Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan on the ground at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai when they had managed to stun Pakistan. While fans in India and Afghanistan had heaped praise on Pathan, fans in Pakistan had slammed him for his act.
