ODI WC 2023: Harbhajan Singh makes explosive statement on Yuzvendra Chahal’s snub from Indian team

Star tweaker Yuzvendra Chahal has been excluded in the Indian team for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 to be played in India.

The development has left former Team India spinner Harbhajan Singh disappointed. Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav and spin bowling all-rounders Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja have been selected in the squad. However, injury to Axar paved the way for all-rounder Washington Sundar in the Asia Cup 2023 squad and veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the Indian team for the Australia ODIs.

Harbhajan was disappointed by the decision to not give Chahal a chance. As per Bhajji, Chahal had fought with someone or had said something to someone that had impacted his chances of getting selected.

“Chahal should have been here. He has not been given an opportunity. It is beyond my understanding. Either he has fought with someone or he has said something to someone, I don’t know,” said Harbhajan on his official YouTube channel.

“If we talk only about skill, his name should have been there in this team because a lot of Team India players are resting,” he added.
