Every cricketer has that one player in his/her mind that he admires and loves watching him/her play. Recently, Former Indian captain MS Dhoni revealed the name of his favourite bowler and he is none other than Jasprit Bumrah.

Thala has showered praise on the premium Indian fast Bowler who recently played a pivotal role in India’s victorious campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup which was played in the West Indies and the United States of America.

Jasprit Bumrah was hailed for his remarkable performance during the ICC T20 World Cup. He made life miserable for the batsman on the bouncy pitches of New York where he was able to create an impact with the ball which helped India win matches from improbable situations. The Perfect example was the game against Pakistan where his fiery spell helped India beat Pakistan in a low scoring thriller.

When asked about his favourite bowler, Dhoni said: “Current favourite, it’s easy to pick a bowler since Bumrah is there. It’s difficult to pick a batter because we have several good batters but that doesn’t mean bowlers aren’t good. It’s difficult to pick one among batters as whomever I see batting, he looks the best but then I see someone else he also looks great. As long as team India is doing fine, I don’t want to pick a batter but I hope they will keep scoring runs. However, I have picked my favourite bowler,” Dhoni said during an event.

Bumrah also became the second Indian to win the Man of the Tournament in T20 World Cup after Virat Kohli who bagged the award in 2014 and 2016. The 30-year old bowler finished with 15 wickets at an impressive average of 8.46.
