Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is undeniably one of the finest cricketers, the country has ever produced. Lovingly called Mahi by his fans, Captain Cool has left an inedible mark across various formats during his illustrious 15-year career.

Despite retiring from international cricket, he is one of the most loved Indian cricketers. Known for keeping low profile, he often spends his time in his farmhouse with his pet horses and dogs.

He also spends quality time farming and visiting his ancestral village. Recently, he was spotted playing with his pet horse ‘Chetak’ and pony in his farmhouse at Ranchi.  A video of Mahi feeding ‘Chetak’ and his pony is now going viral on social media. The video shows how much Dhoni harbours a deep affection for animals.

In the video, Dhoni is seen tenderly petting his beloved horse and showing it to their friends at his picturesque farmhouse in Ranchi. He can be seen sporting a vibrant pink t-shirt and appears to be in a jolly mood, far away from the relentless glare of the cricketing world.

Apart from horses, Dhoni also owns a number of dogs, such as Belgian Malinois, White Huskies and a Dutch Shepherd. He also has a special mansion constructed to store his motorbikes and cars, ranging from the 90s to the Hammer.
