Former Team India and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni celebrated his 42nd birthday on Friday.

On the special day, social media flooded with wishes for the Captain Cool from his fans as well as his teammates.

On the special occasion, Dhoni’s CSK teammate Mohit Sharma shared a video of Dhoni singing a popular Bollywood song accompanied by some friends.

In the unseen video, Dhoni is found singing, “Salaam-E-Ishq Meri Jaan,” from Amitabh Bachchan’s movie “Muqaddar Ka Sikandar.”

The video shared by Mohit on Instagram has gone viral. It has so far amassed over 1.1 million views. Furthermore, the comment section of the video has been flooded with praises for Dhoni. Many fans even compared the Captain Cool to the famous Bollywood singer Arijit Singh.

Though Dhoni rarely sings in public, his love for Bollywood singer Kishore Kumar’s songs is well known. The veteran wicketkeeper batsman has expressed his love for songs multiple times. He even attempted to bring them to life in his voice. Dhoni was even recorded singing the song “Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar” while bidding farewell to his international cricketing career.
