MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi reveals ‘baby is on the way...’

Legendary cricketer and India’s Captain Cool MS Dhoni is all set to become a ‘mamu’. The CSK star’s wife Sakshi Dhoni made the revelation through her Instagram stories. During the CSK vs SRH match, Sakshi Dhoni announced that the baby is on the way.

She was in attendance at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai to support her wicket-keeper-batsman husband. She could be seen cheering and hooting as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 78 in the IPL 2024, jumping to the third spot from sixth place in the IPL 2024 Points Table.

“Please finish the game fast today @chennaiipl baby is on the way… contractions have begun… request from – to be Bua,” Sakshi shared. However, neither Dhoni nor Sakshi have revealed the child's father and mother's identity.

Talking about last night’s match, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a brilliant 98 with fast bowler Tushar Deshpande taking a four-wicket haul to guide CSK to a comprehensive victory after their back-to-back losses.

This win has boosted CSK’s playoffs chances and put them in the top 3, while SRH suffered their second successive defeat of the campaign. Both SRH and CSK have 10 points from 9 matches.
