The ugly altercation between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor Gautam Gambhir has become a defining moment in IPL 2023. Fans and experts across the globe are giving their vociferous reactions about the incident. Meanwhile, former India head coach and legendary all-rounder Ravi Shastri has become the latest voice to join the bandwagon.

Shastri fired a stern warning at Virat by saying that the star batsman needs to remember that the camera would be following him until he leaves the field after a match. The former cricketer-turned-commentator gave examples of legendary cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni and asked Kohli to use the camera to get brownie points.

“Remember once the game is over, the camera is on you all the time until you get into that dressing room. You need to be careful enough. It’s like you are flagged off. If you have that in your mindset, you will be fine. You can get a lot of brownie points using that camera,” Shastri said during an interview.

“Someone like MS Dhoni knows that there is a camera on you and that is because you guys deserve it following your contribution to the game. Dhoni is a pro. There will be a camera on you, like there was on Sachin Tendulkar. Hence, you have to be careful and use it in the best way to get brownie points,” the former all-rounder added.
