Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma is going through a poor form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). It is one of the main reasons why the five times champion side is currently languishing in the lower half of the points table.

Moreover, the recent crushing defeat against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk has further dampened MI’s chances of reaching the play-offs. Rohit was again out for a duck in the crucial match against CSK.

Rohit has drawn flak from experts and fans for his prolonged lean patch. Former India batsman Kris Srikkanth has also joined the bandwagon to rap Rohit.

As per Srikkanth, he would not have Rohit in his team if he were the MI captain. The former aggressive batsman even went to the extent of quipping that Rohit should change his name to ‘NO HIT SHARMA.’

Notably, Rohit’s duck against CSK was his second in IPL 2023.His first duck came against PBKS earlier in the week. Overall, Rohit has scored 184 runs at an average of 18.40 this season. He has now a total of 16 ducks in the IPL. He is now placed at the top of the list of IPL players with the most ducks. In the process, he has surpassed Sunil Narine, Dinesh Karthik and Mandeep Singh who all have 15 ducks to their name in the cash-rich league.
