Gujarat Titans star opener Shubman Gill is currently in the form of his life. He took away the spotlight from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli who scored back-to-back hundreds in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). With his two consecutive tons, Gill also ended RCB’s campaign as he helped GT chase their target of 198 in just 19.1 overs in the last league match of IPL 2023 on Sunday.

GT will take on formidable Chennai Super Kings in the first Qualifier of IPL 2023 on Tuesday. Ahead of the high-octane encounter, Gill was also confident about GT’s bowling attack. The in-form batsman suggested that his team has high-quality bowlers to give a tough challenge to the MS Dhoni-led CSK at their home ground Chepauk.

“I think we have a great bowling attack for that wicket to give a tough challenge to CSK. It’s going to be an exciting one, playing against CSK in Chennai. Hopefully, we’ll make it to the final for the second time,” said Gill.

Speaking about his century against RCB, the promising batsman said, “It’s all about getting a start and converting it into a big one. Thankfully, it’s working out for me in the business end. You have to keep applying yourself, that’s important.”
