Ind Vs Ban test series: Virat Kohli’s twin failures leave fans disappointed 

After making a comeback in Test cricket in January 2024, Indian batter Virat Kohli has failed to make an impression in the ongoing test match Vs Bangladesh in Chennai. In the first innings, Virat falls prey to Hasan Mahmud for mere 6 runs. In the second innings, Virat scored 17 runs after getting adjusted LBW to Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The below performances of Kohli have steered a buzz on social media where people have raised questions about his place in the team and asked him to retire from tests.

As far as the first test is concerned, India find themselves in the commanding position after bowling Bangladesh out for 149 in their first innings against India’s 376. Jasprit Bumrah who earlier surpassed 400 wickets tally in International cricket was the peak of India’s bowlers by taking 4/50. 

India are currently 115/3 with Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant are out in the middle. The lead is 342 runs.
