The former stylish left-hand batsman celebrated his 50th Birthday with Sachin Tendulkar, former IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla and others in London.

The pictures of the birthday celebration have gone viral over various social media platforms.

Going by the pictures it seems Dada and others had a blast on the special occasion.

Shukla took to Twitter and shared pictures of the celebration. In its caption he wrote, “Celebrated the 50th birthday of Sourav Ganguli. Wishing him happy & healthy life ahead.”

Notably, Sachin and Sourav are regarded as one of the finest to have opened the batting in white-ball cricket. Both the batting legends have enjoyed a lot of success in the UK and hence the special celebration would make their fans nostalgic.

The duo scored a lot of runs in both Tests and ODIs on English soil, and was part of the team that won India’s last Test series in England in 2007 under the stewardship of current coach Rahul Dravid.

Both the openers were also part of the Indian team that sealed the Natwest Trophy's iconic win in England in 2002.
