Anushka Sharma & Sakshi Singh Dhoni's bond is older than Virat Kohli & MS Dhoni! 

Cricket fans are in a celebratory mood after Mahendra Singh Dhoni lifted the IPL trophy following the victory of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday. While supporters of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) got disheartened, fans of Virat Kohli must have enjoyed the final IPL match of CSK vs GT (Gujarat Titans).

Undoubtedly, cricket fans have always enjoyed Kohli and Dhoni’s on-field actions and their bond as sportsmen is no less interesting. Well, did you know that the wives of these cricket icons also have a deep connection since childhood?

Yes, BTown diva and Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma and MSD’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni attended the same school in Assam and were classmates. 

During an event in 2013, Anushka revealed that her father Colonel (Retd) Ajay Kumar was in the Indian Army. And, when she was younger, they moved from one place to another quite a lot. She also revealed that she reunited with Sakshi after many years of leaving school and she remembered her childhood days when Sakshi told about her stay in Assam. The actress said that she too stayed in the same area.

When they (Anushka and Sakshi) were in Assam, both of them went to St. Mary’s School in Margherita. When Sakshi talked about her stay in Assam, they both realized that they went to the same school and were classmates. 

According to a report in Times of India, Anushka later added, that she found an old picture of Sakshi and herself. In the picture, while Sakshi was dressed as a fairy, Anushka wore a ghagra to look like her favourite actress Madhuri Dixit. 

Later, while Anushka made her way into Indian Cinema, Sakshi studied hotel management. 

Well, this is something exciting for fans of Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
