The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to launch a campaign of clicking selfies with women beneficiaries and uploading on social media platforms. BJP Mahila Morcha national leader Vanati Srinivasan informed this at the executive meeting of the wing in Cuttack on Sunday.

This campaign is scheduled to be launched in coming March and it has been set that selfies with as many as 1 crore women will be clicked and uploaded.

The Mahila Morcha members will visit the houses of women beneficiaries across the State and make them aware of the contribution of the Central and State governments so that they can understand the role of both governments.

Addressing the meeting, Srinivasan said, “Our Mahila Morcha is going to visit all the houses of the State, and tell women how they have got the benefits under the central government schemes and explain about Modiji’s good work for women. After convincing them, with their permission, Mahila Morcha members will take selfies with them and upload them on social media platforms.”

On this occasion, State BJP Mahila Morcha leader Smruti Pattnaik also launched a vituperative attack against the State government. She said with the support of the people, the BJP will form the government in 2024.

“We will put the true picture of the State government before the people. Similarly, we will also inform people about the contribution of the Centre and the State government. Odia women have started realising things. In 2024, they will teach a lesson to the Biju Janata Dal (BJD),” said Patnaik.
