Trouble mounted for Arkesh Narayan Singh Deo, younger son of BJD leader Ananga Udaya Singh Deo of the Bolangir Royal family, as a domestic violence case was reportedly registered against the scion at Dehradun’s Rajpur Police Station.

The case has been registered on the basis of his wife Adrija Manjari Singh’s complaint.

Adrija had also lodged a complaint against her father-in-law Ananga Udaya Singh Deo, mother-in-law Bijaylaxmi Devi, brother-in-law (her husband’s elder brother) Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo and sister-in-law (wife of her husband’s elder brother) Meghana Rana.

As the police didn’t show any interest in the case and didn’t take necessary action, she met Uttrakhand’s Director General of Police (DGP), seeking justice.

Receiving her complaint, the DGP directed the Dehradun Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) to initiate action. Subsequently, Rajpur police registered a case against Arkesh.

Notably, Arkesh’s wife Adrija is the granddaughter of former Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh.
