After the hike in the monthly remuneration of 12,113 Gana Sikhyaks in the state, the daily and retainer fees of non-cadre law officials handling cases in various courts have been increased by 50 percent. 

According to a CMO release issued on Friday, a total of 184 additional public prosecutors, 740 assistant public prosecutors, 85 special public prosecutors, 29 government pleaders, and 113 assistant pleaders will be benefited. 

Earlier, additional public prosecutors were getting Rs 1250 a day. After the hike, they will get Rs 1895. Similarly, the retainer fee has been increased from Rs 8200 to Rs 12,300.

Likewise, assistant public prosecutors will get Rs 1650 a day instead of Rs 1100. Their retainer fee has been increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 6000. This will benefit a total of 740 assistant public prosecutors. 

While the daily fee of 85 special public prosecutors has been increased from Rs 1250 to Rs 1875, they will get Rs 12,300 as their retainer fee instead of Rs 8200. 

The retainer fee of 29 government pleaders and 113 assistant pleaders has also been hiked. They will get Rs 12,300 instead of Rs 8,200. 

Earlier in the day, the state government had announced the hike in the monthly remuneration of Gana Sikhyaks in the State. The decision is said to benefit 12,113 such teachers working on a contractual basis in the state.
