The BJP on Sunday appointed two newly-inducted Union cabinet ministers as observers to pick the Chief Minister for Odisha, where the party swept the polls and snatched power from the BJD. 

The party has appointed Rajnath Singh & Bhupender Yadav as the observers for picking the new Odisha Chief Minister. The party communicated the decision through a press release on Sunday evening.

The grand swearing-in ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister of the newly elected BJP government is scheduled to be held on June 12. 

PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the oath-taking ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister. 

As per reports, Modi will hold a huge roadshow from Jayadev Vihar to Janata Maidan on Wednesday evening before attending the oath-taking ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister.
