Wagh Bakri Tea Group scion Parag Desai dies after attack by street dogs

Parag Desai, the executive director of Wagh Bakri Tea Group died after being attacked by street dogs, reports said. He had suffered a brain hemorrhage after being attacked by street dogs near his residence and was admitted to a hospital last week.

He was under treatment with severe head injury, but succumbed to the injuries today, reports said. His company announced about his untimely demise and wrote, “With profound grief, we regret to inform the sad demise of our beloved Parag Desai.”

He was one of the two executive directors on the board of Wagh Bakri Tea Group, who led their transformation into tea lounges and e-commerce.
