PM Modi, HM Amit Shah, BJP National VP Baijayant Panda and others greet citizens on India's 78th Independence Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the nation on India's 78th Independence Day. He will attend the celebrations at Red Fort, delivering his 11th address. Modi shared greetings on X in English and Hindi. Special guests include Paris Olympics participants, Atal Innovation Mission students, Border Roads Organisation workers, and gram panchayat sarpanches.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the people of the country on the occasion of India's 78th Independence Day. "Independence Day greetings to my fellow Indians. Jai Hind!" Modi said in a post on X in English and Hindi.

Extending his greetings on the auspicious day, National Vice President, BJP, Baijayant Panda also inspired all Indians to commit ourselves to building a strong and prosperous India.

“Heartiest greetings and best wishes to all the countrymen on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. Today is the day for all Indians to pay their respects to our freedom fighters and martyrs. Let us all commit ourselves to building a strong and prosperous India, following the ideals of the freedom fighters. Bharat Mata Ki Jai 🇮🇳 #IndependenceDay2024

Similarly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended his best greetings to the entire nation on the auspicious occasion and wrote, “Heartiest greetings of Independence Day to all the countrymen. Today is the day for all Indians to express their loyalty to the nation, their duty and their gratitude to the martyrs. I salute all those freedom fighters who contributed to freeing the country from the shackles of slavery.”

“With the nation all set to celebrate Independence Day, let me once again extend my greetings to you, particularly our brave jawans of Armed Forces who guard our freedom, risking their lives,” shared President of India Droupadi Murmu.

National President – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda also extended best wishes to fellow countrymen through a post on X and wrote, “I wish all my countrymen a very Happy Independence Day. On this occasion, I bow down to the immortal fighters who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the nation. Your sacrifice and self-denial is the inspiration for our duties towards the nation. Heartfelt greetings on the special occasion of #IndependenceDay. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳”
