Amid the ongoing incidents of train derailment across the country, the Mumbai-Howrah Mail on Monday received a threat to blow up the train with a timer bomb.
According to ANI, at around 4:00 AM, off-control received the message following which the Train number 12809 was stopped at Jalgaon station and checked.
Reportedly, no suspicious object was found in the train during the search. After this, the train proceeded towards the destination, informed CPRO, Central Railway.
Earlier last week, the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express was delayed for over three hours at Tundla Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh following a bomb threat.
It was then reported that suspected terrorists were allegedly traveling with explosives in the train. The alert was received through an X (formerly Twitter) user. However, it was later turned out to be a hoax after thorough investigations.
