Family carries body of man on stretcher for post-mortem in Odisha, blames police apathy

A family in Rayagada was seen carrying dead body of a man on shoulders for post-mortem. The shocking incident has been reported from Dudkabahal village in Tikiri area.

According to sources, the man was missing since May 4 and was found dead inside a nearby forest on Friday. 

A forensic team conducted a scientific examination of the deceased at the spot, however, it has been alleged that police did not make any arrangements for post-mortem of the man. 

Irate over the incident, family members of the deceased and local residents carried the body of the man on a stretcher for post-mortem in Koraput. 

The family of the deceased has alleged police apathy behind the incident.
