Man shot dead over property dispute

38-year old Rajiv Kumar, who was an advocate in Karkarduma Court in Delhi, was shot dead by his nephew last night at his house in Kharkhari village in the presence of his brother, SHO Avnish Dixit said.

The nephew, Neetu, wanted to sell the land, but Rajiv, was objecting to it. The victim`s wife filed a complaint against Neetu and two others alleging that they assaulted her husband and then shot him dead.

In another incident, one Makhhan Singh, who was working as a driver, was shot dead in Sahibabad.

The victim, a resident of Naveen Park, had gone to meet his friend on Friday night but did not return. His body bearing bullet injuries on his chest, was found this morning.
