CAPF announces vacancies for several Group A posts, salary as per 7th CPC

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) has invited applications from Indian Citizens (Male & Female) for appointment to Group ‘A’ posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on the ITBP Recruitment website recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

The registration for the application process will begin on February 15, the last date to apply for the post is March 16,2023.

CAPF Medical Officer Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 297

• Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second in Command): 5

• Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): 185

• Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): 107

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply for the post, the candidate should have passed Diploma/Degree/DM/M.Ch/PG/MBBS ( Related Specialty) from recognised University/Institution.

Age Limit

The age limit for recruitment of Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-inCommand) should not be exceeding 50 years.

The age limit for recruitment of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) should not be exceeding 40 years.

The age limit for recruitment of Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) should not be exceeding 30 years.

Pay Scale

• Super Specialist Medical Officers: Rs 78,800 – Rs 2,09,200

• Specialist Medical Officers: Rs 67,700 – Rs 2,08,700

• Medical Officers: Rs 56,100 – Rs 1,77,500

Application Fee

Male candidates belonging to General (UR), OBC and EWS categories applying for recruitment to the above posts need to pay Rs 400 as an application fee through the online payment gateway system.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
