Indian Idol Singer Renu Nagar Critical After Married Boyfriend Dies By Suicide; Family Accuses Renu Of Torturing Ravi

Singer Renu Nagar, a contestant in Sony TV's Indian Idol Season 10 is now critical. According to reports, she is now admitted to a hospital in Alwar, Rajasthan. Incidentally, the singer fell unconscious after the death of her boyfriend.

Renu Nagar Eloped with Married Man From Rajasthan

The reality show singer and her boyfriend Ravi Shanker eloped in June from their respective homes in Alwar, Rajasthan. Ravi is a married man with two children. The police took the couple in its custody after Renu's father filed a complaint. According to Mr. Nagar, Ravi manipulated Renu to go with him.

Police recorded the statements of Renu and Ravi and let them go five days ago. On Wednesday night Ravi ingested poison at his residence at around 7 pm. The family members took him to the hospital but the doctors could not save him. He died the same night at 11 pm. According to doctors, he was in a critical condition when the family admitted him.

Renu Nagar Tortured My Brother, Says Ravi's Brother

The news of Ravi's death shocked Renu Nagar to such an extent that she fell unconscious. Her parents admitted Renu at the Mittal Hospital. Currently, she is in ICU and very critical. After the death of Ravi, his friends and family members created quite an uproar outside the hospital. They even accused Renu of torturing her boyfriend.

While talking to News18 Rajasthan, brother of Ravi Shanker said, "Renu Nagar ki 3.30 baje baat hui thi toh Renu Nagar ne torture kiya tha mere bhai ko. Usne kaha mai tera saath yahan tak nibha rahi  hoon, age nahi nibhane wali hoon. Agar tu poison khaye aur kuch bhi khaye mein tera saath nahi de rahi hoon. Toh mere bhai ne aisa kuch poison kha liya." Ravi's brother accused the father of Renu and the hospital for hatching conspiracy and killing Ravi.

Renu Nagar participated in Indian Idol Season 10 and became a household name in 2018.
