Berhampur: Four persons, including a woman, were arrested on charge of fraudulently selling a plot of land in the town last year. The four had sold the plot by falsely claiming before the Sub-Register, Berhampur, that the woman member of the gang was the land owner, police said.
The arrested persons were identified as Ram Murthy Pradhan of Goilundi, Naresh Sahu of Nimakhandi, Pratap Chandra Panigrahi of Lanjipalli and Chandraprabha Pati of Lanjipalli, police said. We are in search of two other persons, which also included a woman, for ther alleged involvement in the racket, inspector in charge, town police station SS Mohapatra said.
