Bhubaneswar: Two days after the brutal killing of a senior manager of a private steel plant at Titlagarh in Orissa`s Bolangir district, the police on Saturday arrested four persons.

"We have arrested four persons. As some of the accused have left the district, special squad members were sent to different places. We are hopeful of more arrests soon," said Bolangir district SP Ajay Sadangi.

Meanwhile, the body of slain R S Roy, deputy general manager (Operations) of Graphite India Ltd-Powmex steel division, was consigned to flames at Bolangir.

His family members demanded death penalty for the killer of Roy who was set on fire inside his car outside the factory premises on Thursday.

Roy become a victim of the labour dispute in Powmex Steel, said state`s labour and employment minister Pushpendra Singhdeo.
