Additional District Judge S N Tripathi awarded life sentence to Kalyan Singh and his sons Surendra, Dheera, Vijay and Dalveer for killing one Chandrapal on July 21, 2008 in Dhanipur village.

The court also imposed fine of Rs 50,000 on each of the five.
