Learn why World Humanitarian Day was initiated
Every adult individual on this planet must know why this day was started. It was created in remembrance of the bombing that occurred on August 19, 2003, at the UNO compound of Canal Hotel in Baghdad, Iraq.
Around 22 people were killed in this bombing and among them, one was the humanitarian Sergio Vieira de Mello. In the year 2009, the United Nations General Assembly decided to designate August 19 as World Humanitarian Day.
20 years ago on 19 Aug, we lost 22 colleagues in a devastating suicide bomb attack at the UN compound in Baghdad, Iraq.

Know about issues facing the globe
As a human, everyone must be aware of the issues that the globe is facing and must have the willingness to support the various programs supporting those in need. From Ukraine War, and healthcare worker burnout to the AIDS epidemic and unrest in Sudan, there are multiple issues that the world is facing as of now.
