When Katrina Kaif felt outshined by senior Priyanka Chopra at Kathak class, watch her hilarious narration

Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas started their career in Bollywood around the same time. The two superstars are yet to share a screen for any movie. But they shared the same Kathak guruji during their early days in Bollywood. Narrating an incident regarding how Priyanka used to impress the guruji with her stunning performance during the practice, Katrina shared how the desi girl was way ahead of her in dancing then.

During one of her interviews, the Tiger 3 actress said, “Both Alia and Priyanka are actually really good friends of mine and I consider them very good friends. PC and me, we go back from the days where we were learning Kathak at guruji's. I'll tell you what happened. So, PC was just a little more senior than me. So you know you come in the class, you tie your ghungroos and you stand in the corner and guruji one by one calls you up to dance in the centre.”

Katrina Kaif further said, “Everyone stands around in a small room in the corner. No AC, just the fan, just a simple salwar kameez. Priyanka used to get up, was fire (enacting how Priyanka danced) and guruji would be like 'wah, wah, wah (wow). And Katrina'."

When it was her time to perform she would come like a shy person and do a few small steps looking here and there and considering her a weak dancer Guruji would say, “chal, koi nahi beta (it's okay, child). The Bharat actor said, “This used to literally happen. She was one year ahead of me. Priyanka is all fire, right? She's out there. I used to look at that time. I think when it started I was 17 or just about 18 and I'd be like, 'One day I too would dance like that.”

Katrina also said that even though they are not in touch regularly whenever there have been low or rough moments in each other’s lives she and Priyanka have always crossed paths. She also said that it always helped her.
