With just a month to go for the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the fever for the cash-rich league has already gripped cricket lovers across the world. Though BCCI is yet to release the schedule and fixtures, it is likely to start on March 22.

As per reports, the tournament is set to clash with the upcoming general elections. A total of 70 league matches and four playoff matches will be played including two qualifiers, the eliminator and the final. Big IPL franchises like KKR, CSK, RCB and others are leaving no stone unturned to create enthusiasm among the fans.

Taking the excitement a notch further, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has reportedly roped in Bollywood’s ‘Chikni Chameli’ Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador for the upcoming IPL 2024 season. The partnership marks a significant milestone for the five-time IPL champions, signaling a new chapter in their illustrious journey.

Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, CSK emerged as one of the most successful teams in IPL. Meanwhile, Katrina, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actresses, is all set to bring her star power as the new face of CSK. Known for her charismatic presence and massive fan following, Katrina’s association with CSK is expected to amplify the team’s appeal.

The strategic partnership is reportedly being done with the team’s vision of expanding its global reach and enhancing its brand image. On the other hand, CSK has unveiled a refreshed jersey logo for the upcoming season.

Apart from MS Dhoni, CSK has terrific players like Moeen Ali, Deepak Chahar, Shivam Dube, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Rachin Ravindra, Shradul Thakur and other foreign players.
