Priyanka Chopra Jonas is getting a lot of hate from Taylor Swift fans; Here's why

Grammys 2024 was a lit affair for the Indians as this year the Shakti group comprising Shankar Mahadevan , Rakesh Chaurasia, Ustad Zakir Hussain, and others brought home 5 Grammys. For international pop singer, Taylor Swift who has already won multiple Grammys in her long career, it was yet another winning moment when she took her Grammys from the hands of legendary singer Celine Dion.

But what many people did not like was the way Taylor Swift simply ignored the famous Canadian singer handing her the award. Dion is herself an international singer who has won multiple international awards. But since Taylor Swift did not even acknowledge her presence, music fans all over the world thought it cringey. Many fans who love music, especially Western music got upset that Swift did not even wish the “My Heart Will Go On” singer when she took the award.

What’s more the “Cruel Summer” singer simply walked off holding the trophy to dance and celebrate with her besties. Not only the audience but even many Swift fans found this behaviour from their favourite singer disgraceful and unprofessional.

And maybe Priyanka Chopra Jonas also found this behaviour arrogant and that is why she liked a particular post slamming this behaviour of Swift.

Incidentally, it has not gone down well with the Swifties (fan army of Taylor Swift) and they have come down heavily on PeeCee with a few even threatening her with a chainsaw. Now that is uncalled for. A shout-out for impolite behaviour from an international celebrity by another global icon is very common, especially on social media.

But when the fans take to threatening and abusing it is not acceptable. While there has been no clarification from Taylor Swift and Priyanka Chopra Jonas regarding the same, it does not seem either of the celebrities will take this matter seriously.
