Regrets making remark against Shahid

Rumours were adrift that during the making of Padmaavat that there were cold vibes between Ranveer and Shahid and the latter had even said that he felt like an outsider during the shooting of this movie. Prior to that, the Bajirao Mastani actor had commented that he could have done Sasha’s role in Kaminey much better.

But in an interview after that, Ranveer said that he regretted making such a comment and accepted that he was quite arrogant in his initial days.

When Ranveer received backlash for his comment on Anushka

Reportedly, Ranveer and Anushka Sharma were dating after they first worked together in Band Baaja Baaraat. When the onscreen couple came on the couch of Koffee with Karan, Ranveer Singh made an absurd comment at Anushka asking, “Hey do you want your ass pinched? I’m right here” which definitely made the latter very uncomfortable. Ranveer received a lot of backlash for his impolite behaviour on the show.
