Chan married Taiwanese actress Joan Lin in 1982 and has a son, Jaycee Chan. However, he had an extramarital affair with Elaine Ng Yi-Lei and has a daughter Etta Ng Chok Lam with her. However, Chan 'disowned' his real daughter in 2017 for reportedly being a lesbian.
