If reports are to be believed, Pratibha fell in love with music director Nadeem Saifi of the famous Nadeem-Shravan duo.
Unknown facts about Pratibha Sinha, the gorgeous dancer in Raja Hindustani’s ‘Pardesi Pardesi’
She is fondly remembered as the ‘Pardesi Pardesi’ girl with her memorable appearance in the chartbuster song from Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor’s ‘Raja Hindustani’. Despite being the queen in the heart of millions of 90s kids, she now lives a life of oblivion.
Well, we are talking about none other than the stunning Pratibha Sinha. She was the crush of the 90s men and captivated millions of hearts with her dance performance and expressions in the ‘Pardesi Pardesi’ song.
Pratibha is the daughter of former Indian actress Mala Sinha, one of the highest-paid and most popular actresses in the late 50s, 60s, and 70s. She made her acting debut in the 1992 film ‘Mehboob Mere Mehboob’.
However, Pratibha could not make it big in the industry like her mother. She has starred in commercially successful films with an ensemble star cast, but this significantly did not advance her career.
If reports are to be believed, Pratibha fell in love with music director Nadeem Saifi of the famous Nadeem-Shravan duo. The gorgeous beauty was head over heels for Nadeem and was in a relationship with him despite her mother Mala Sinha’s warning.
However, things turned sour for the couple after Nadeem was accused of killing T-Series owner Gulshan Kumar, due to a personal dispute with the help of Mumbai underworld D-Company, and fled to the United Kingdom.
Gangster Abu Salem later denied Nadeem’s involvement following which the latter moved to Dubai and now runs a successful perfumery business. This was the end of the Nadeem-Shravan duo who later rejoined to give superhit music for a couple of more movies. However, the duo again split for reasons yet to be known.
On the other hand, Pratibha appeared in Mithun Chakraborty’s movie ‘Military Raaj’ and mysteriously disappeared from movies. She is currently living a normal life out of the media glare and nothing much is known about her whereabouts now.
On the other hand, the income tax raided her mother’s Mumbai home for keeping cash worth Rs 12 lakh in her bathroom. To prevent the amount from being confiscated, Mala Sinha asserted that she had earned the cash by working as an escort.
Although the court ordered her to keep the money, she missed out on opportunities to work in the film industry, it is said.
