Tiku Weds Sheru trailer: Avneet rocks; Kangana reveals Nawazuddin's reaction to her proposal; watch

The trailer of Tiku Weds Sheru featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur was released today. Kangana Ranaut who is producing this OTT movie was also present during the press meeting and revealed some interesting facts about the way she got the Talaash actor on board for this project.

The Queen said that when she decided to cast Nawaz as Sheru in her movie, the actor was in Bangalore. When Kangana told him that she wants to meet him, Nawaz said that he was in Bangalore and simply said, “Milna hai toh aa jao.”

Kangana took it as an invitation and went to Bangalore to meet Nawazudding Siddiqui. The Kick actor was quite impressed that the Tanu Weds Manu actress had come all the way to Bangalore to meet him and when she offered him a lead role in her home production, Nawaz said, “Ab script kya sunani, ab toh tum aa hi gayi ho toh kar lete hai film.”

Kangana added that creative people definitely have thoda pagalpan but Nawazuddin thought that she is completely pagal.

For Avneet Kaur this is a big break and the trailer of Tiku Weds Sheru shows that the social media star has done a good job.

She has always done justice to her roles on the small screen but the role of Tiku was a big challenge for her and since she was pitted against none other than the great actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui it was natural for her to become nervous.

During the press meeting, she revealed her nervousness and also thanked Kangana Ranaut for giving her this big break. Avneet said that even before the launch of the trailer she was crying and feeling nervous. She said, “When Ma’am choose me for the role of Kiku I just wanted to prove that I can do justice for this role because Kiku is very close to Kangana Ma’am’s heart.”

Tiku Weds Sheru will release on Amazon Prime on June 23.
