Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya hits Rs 55 cr mark in first weekend; likely to get sequel

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ scored a half-century in the first weekend. While the numbers look healthy, the romantic comedy-drama is all set for consistent weekdays for Valentine’s Week.

The film has collected Rs 55.10 crore in 3 days at the global box office. It collected Rs 14.04 crore on Friday, Rs 20.02 crore, and Rs 21.04 crore on Saturday and Sunday taking it to a total of Rs 55.10 crore. Maddock Films shared the news and wrote, “DND, the classic Indian family is currently busy entertaining families everywhere 🥳🫶🏻 Book your tickets right away.”

With good response and positive word of mouth from the public, the movie is expected to collect something on Saturday and Sunday on February 14 i.e. Valentine’s Day, getting love and appreciation from the general audience.

TBMAUJ is a sheer entertainer and the new concept of a robot-human love story is quite refreshing. It is a well-rounded picture that does not just romanticise the idea of falling in love with a machine. Moreover, the dialogues are well written with a milestone performance by Kriti Sanon who aces the nuances of a robot.

She is a marvelous actress and has truly upped her game since Mimi. Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, is charismatic and has returned to the comedy space after so long. He has been reminding fans of his memories of his 2000s blockbusters.

Fans are coming out of the cinema smiling and feeling happy after a long time. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is going to have a sequel. It is likely that Sifra would be getting feelings for Aryan (Shahid Kapoor) in the second part. Will this impossible love story become possible love story in the sequel?
