Janhvi Kapoor reveals her first love, Sridevi's reaction about her love life in school

Janhvi Kapoor always lamented the fact that her mother was not alive when her debut movie Dhadak released in theaters. However, very recently during an interview, her father Boney Kapoor said that Sridevi did see a few scenes of Janhvi from Dhadak which indicates that the Bollywood superstar had an idea of how her daughter looked and acted on the screen.

Recalling her memories of Sridevi , Janhvi Kapoor recently shared a memory from the time when she was in school and a boy in her class had a crush on her. The young actress said that both her mother Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were quite conservative parents which is quite surprising since both of them have been in movies for decades together.

However, when Sri got to know about the boy’s crush on Janhvi Kapoor and maybe her daughter was seeing him as well, she barged into the school and directly complained to her teacher saying that she does not send Janhvi to school so that all such rubbish could happen.

Talking about her first serious relationship, the Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actress said that her first serious boyfriend was during her young days and it was fun 'chup chup ke milna' and all that. But despite all this, she had to lie to her mother since both her parents were like, “No you will never have a boyfriend.”

And since she could not lie continuously, Janhvi’s first relationship could not succeed. Incidentally, when she entered Bollywood, it was rumoured that she was dating her Dhadak co-star Ishaan Khatter and was spotted a couple of times with him visiting his brother Shahid Kapoor.

But soon that fizzled out. She was also rumoured to be having a fling with Kartik Aryan when Dostana 2 was announced and it seems Koki left the movie because things between him and Janhvi did not turn out well.

Janhvi is currently rumoured to be dating Shikhar Pahariya. Her last release was Bawaal with Varun Dhawan on OTT and her next release will be Mr. and Mrs. Mahi with Rajkummar Rao.
