Is Samantha Ruth Prabhu hospitalised in Hyderabad after her health deteriorates?

Rumuors are rife that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been hospitalised in Hyderabad. Reports claimed that Sam was admitted to the hospital after her health deteriorated. However, Samantha’s spokesperson has refuted the claims.

A few reports, which surfaced yesterday, claimed that Samantha’s health took a turn for the worst and she was rushed to the hospital. However, her spokesperson speaking IndiaToday.in rubbished the rumours and said it was untrue. Samantha is resting at home, clarified her spokesperson.

Samantha was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. She had also opened up about her diagnosis in a long post on Instagram just a few days before the release of her last film, ‘Yashoda’. 

She wrote in her post, ‘I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes (sic).’

On the work front, Samantha was last seen in Yashoda which was appreciated by critics and fans alike. She also has mythological magnum opus Shaakuntalam, and Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda in the pipeline.
