Jason does not need a stuntman

If Bollywood has Akshay Kumar who mostly prefers to do his own stunts, Hollywood has John Statham who never needs a stuntman. Rather he always wanted to be a stuntman and loves the daring action stunts himself.

In one of his interviews, the Fast & Furious actor revealed, “I'd do more if they let me. I've never really been frightened to do anything." From martial arts to diving, John is trained in almost everything that makes him such an expert in doing stunts. Despite the fact that he nearly died while shooting for Expendables, John’s love for doing stunts has not waned a bit.

Worked as a hustler on London streets

Most of the A-listers in the movie world have a struggle story and how they somehow managed to get an opportunity and made it big through it. But behind it, there is always their intention to become an actor. With Jason Statham, things were very different.

Talking about the same, the Crank actor once said that it was his father who taught him how to hustle on the streets of London as a teenager. Young Jason sat outside of Harrods and pitched the costume jewelry and it was fun for him at that time.

He would earn as much as $3000 every weekend and use it to spend on cars and races. And since then his love for automobiles has been going on. And it was this streetwise experience that made his modelling buddy Guy Ritchie offer Jason Statham 'Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels' despite the fact that he did not have any experience in acting.
